1. Presence of a dedicated dust-free film installation environment: After applying automotive glass film, it should exhibit no defects or foreign particles. Therefore, professional installations must take place in a dust-free film installation environment. A dust-free environment is not merely a sealed room with isolated glass doors; it should include features such as water mist spray heads and air conditioning for dust removal, drainage channels with specialized coatings for further dust reduction, and organized and uniformly clean workstations with neatly arranged equipment and items.
2. Availability of professional tools: Non-professional tools, such as iron-made squeegees, may not effectively remove water, leading to water bubbles and air pockets. They may even scratch the film. Carbon steel blades can potentially scratch high-end automotive glass. Non-professional shops often use domestically produced or homemade non-specialized tools that are coarse in quality, vague in function, and often multi-purpose. Professional film installation tools are mostly imported from the United States, well-categorized, elegantly designed, and easily identifiable.
3. Exterior quality assessment criteria for professionally installed automotive films:
・The film should not contain defects, foreign particles, wrinkles, bubbles, or scratches on its surface.
・At the top of the sliding-type car windows, there should be a gap of only 1-2mm, making it difficult to notice at a glance.
・The black enamel area covering the glass frame should not leak light and should have a smooth and coordinated appearance.
・There should be no visual ghosting or watermarks caused by uneven squeegee pressure and irregular squeegee paths.
