How many layers does TPU PPF have?

The first layer: Nano coating, also known as thermoplastic polyurethane transparent film, is an elastic polymer used to eliminate dust adhesion, pollution, and surface scratches. This nano coating provides anti-pollution and repair functions for the PPF.

The second layer: TPU substrate. The TPU material is special and highly resilient, capable of stretching and returning to its original shape even after severe deformation. The combination of the first and second layers of the PPF creates the primary function of automatic scratch repair in the next generation of PPFs.

The third layer: Pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, commonly referred to as the adhesive layer, determines whether the PPF leaves adhesive residue when removed. High-quality PPF requires this third layer to have strong adhesion and easy removal without leaving residue. Additionally, there is another layer, usually removed before installation, known as the base adhesive protection film or matte polyester anti-sticking layer protection film. Its main purpose is to protect the third layer's pressure-sensitive adhesive.
