Heat insulation: One of the key functions of solar film is heat insulation. It reflects heat sources in sunlight, especially infrared radiation. The solar film not only reflects part of the heat, but also absorbs and dissipates the rest, effectively reducing the temperature inside the car. In modern technology, the most advanced solar film layer is based on nano-graphene material, which not only maintains high transparency but also provides excellent thermal insulation properties.

Energy Saving: Excellent thermal insulation helps reduce energy consumption of the interior air conditioning system. Even if the vehicle is parked in an area exposed to the sun, after applying the solar film, starting the air conditioner can lower the temperature inside the vehicle more quickly, significantly improving driving comfort.

Sun Protection: Although many vehicles use factory glass that is advertised as having sun protection, they usually only block some UV radiation. One of the main functions of solar film is to effectively isolate medium and long-wavelength ultraviolet rays to protect the skin of drivers and passengers and reduce the aging hazards caused by light.

Anti-dazzle: Facing strong light during the day, high beam lights at night, or sudden brightening of the field of vision (such as driving out of an underground parking garage), it may interfere with the driver's vision, thus affecting driving safety. The application of solar film can effectively reduce excessive light, and some solar films also have the function of automatically adjusting the light transmittance to improve driving comfort and safety.

Automotive solar films typically consist of 7-8 layers. The main layers include an anti-adhesive layer, adhesive layer, and polyester film. There are various types, such as metallic films and ceramic films, which are considered traditional and may have limitations in heat insulation and signal transmission. The most advanced option is the nano-graphene layer, which also includes a surface wear-resistant layer. Different manufacturing processes result in varying layer thicknesses and sun protection capabilities. Traditional metallic layers, while effective in blocking heat, can interfere with signal transmission.

The predecessor of solar film is architectural film and security film. It was first used on building glass exterior walls. It mainly played an explosion-proof role to prevent personal injury caused by glass slag splashing after the glass accidentally breaks. Later, there were sunscreen partitions. Thermal films are gradually introduced into the automotive field and are installed on the inside of car windows. They are mainly used for sun protection, heat insulation, and explosion-proof. Some solar films with relatively low light transmittance or one-sided light transmittance can also increase the brightness inside the car privacy.

Automotive solar film, also known as window film or safety film, refers to a film adhered to the surface of car windows. In addition to its heat and glare-reducing properties, it also serves as a safety measure. High-quality safety films are constructed using special polyester materials, which inherently possess high toughness. Combined with a unique pressure-sensitive adhesive, in the event of an accident, the film securely holds the shattered glass in place, preventing it from scattering and causing harm. Automotive safety films also offer one-way visibility and reduce glare.

Vacuum coating technology is the most widely used in plastic products. The vacuum coating machine factory stated that plastic has the characteristics of easy molding, low cost, light weight, and non-corrosion. Plastic products are widely used, but its shortcomings restrict the expansion of application. Through the application of vacuum coating technology, the surface of plastics is metallized, and organic materials and inorganic materials are combined, greatly improving its physical and chemical properties. The advantages of vacuum coating technology are mainly reflected in the following aspects:
1. Make the plastic surface conductive;
2. Easy to clean, no dust collection.
3. Improve the appearance, Original plastic surfaces are soft and easily susceptible to damage. Vacuum coating technology significantly increases surface hardness and wear resistance.
4. Reduce water absorption. The more coating times, the fewer pinholes, the water absorption rate decreases, the product is less likely to deform, and the heat resistance is improved;
5. Improve surface hardness. The original plastic surface is softer and more susceptible to damage than metal. Through vacuum coating technology, the hardness and wear resistance are greatly increased;
6. Enhanced Weather Resistance: Plastics exposed to outdoor conditions tend to deteriorate quickly, primarily due to UV radiation. Vacuum coating with aluminum greatly improves weather resistance because aluminum reflects UV radiation effectively.plastics will age very quickly outdoors, mainly due to ultraviolet radiation. After aluminum plating, aluminum has the strongest reflection of ultraviolet rays, so the weather resistance is greatly improved.

Glass film can block 45-85% of direct solar heat from entering the room in summer, and can reduce heat loss by more than 30% in winter; when the glass is broken, the fragments can stick tightly to the surface of the glass film , maintaining the original shape without splashing or deformation; At the same time, glass film can withstand high temperatures of up to 500 degrees and can effectively prevent fires and avoid harm to the human body. Good quality glass films can block glare and 99% of ultraviolet rays.
Decorative film in glass film is a favorite of simple decoration style. It is translucent and hazy, full of unlimited expansion of space and realistic separation and blocking, making the home decoration style more modern and flexible, not only allowing good natural light indoors but also Visibility can be reduced. It has rich colors, diverse styles, simple and realistic creativity, low cost, safety and environmental protection. It has become the best choice for personal privacy spaces such as homes, offices, restaurants, shopping mall front desks, and bedrooms and bathrooms.

1. Within the first three days following the installation of window glass film, avoid moving the glass as it may still contain water that has not evaporated completely. It is best not to disturb it during this period.
2. For the initial fifteen days after applying the glass film, refrain from using water to clean the film-covered glass surfaces.
3. Do not hang any items with adhesive or attach stickers or other decorations onto the glass film.
4. To clean the window film surface, lightly and evenly spray a cleaning agent. Then, gently wipe the film with a clean and soft cotton cloth or an absorbent wiping cloth. Cotton cloths and absorbent wiping cloths may need to be wrung out. Pure isopropyl alcohol applied to these cloths will quickly dissolve stubborn stains and greasy fingerprints. If stains persist, reapply the cleaning solution and use a soft rubber squeegee to wipe horizontally from top to bottom until dry. Use a towel to dry the edges of the window film.
5. If there is residual adhesive or glue left behind when removing adhesive tape or stickers from the window film on doors and windows, you can use a soft, clean cotton cloth dipped in acetone to gently clean the affected areas. This will quickly and completely remove any adhesive residue from the window film. A small amount of acetone will not harm the polyester film but will effectively dissolve and evaporate most adhesives and paints.
6. Do not use soft squeegees, brushes, or those containing abrasive materials.

Firstly, pay attention to the smell of the building's heat insulation film. Poor-quality heat insulation films often emit a strong, pungent odor, especially during installation, which can irritate the respiratory system. In contrast, high-quality heat insulation films should be odorless and devoid of impurities after installation.

Secondly, assess the tactile qualities of the heat insulation film. Inferior heat insulation films typically employ ordinary polyester films as their base material, lacking elasticity, toughness, and a tactile feel. They are prone to wrinkling and fail to meet the fundamental safety and explosion-proof requirements expected of building heat insulation films.

Thirdly, examine the coloration of the heat insulation film. Low-quality heat insulation films primarily rely on dyeing processes, akin to fabric dyeing, making them susceptible to discoloration and blurring over time, often tending towards brown hues. In contrast, premium heat insulation films are crafted using magnetron sputtering technology, which adheres rare and valuable space metals such as gold, silver, nickel, and titanium using a robust magnetic field. This process ensures uniform coloration, a natural space-metal aesthetic, and exceptional transparency.

Fourthly, consider the clarity of the heat insulation film. The clarity of a building's heat insulation film is contingent upon both the base material and the manufacturing process. Only films produced using state-of-the-art magnetron sputtering technology can guarantee exceptional clarity. This technology involves adsorbing rare metals onto the film's surface without the use of pigments or heat-absorbing agents, resulting in optimal clarity. Many subpar heat insulation films may exhibit a wavy pattern when viewed from the outside post-installation, causing obscured visibility and compromising the appreciation of outdoor scenery. This also poses safety concerns.

Bubbling window film releases a significant amount of formaldehyde! If you don't remove the bubbling explosion-proof film, it can seriously harm your health and even lead to cancer! Floor mats, window films, interior paint, and other car components contain formaldehyde, and after prolonged exposure to sunlight, the levels of formaldehyde inside the car may increase. Formaldehyde exists in an adhesive and sticky form, and as the temperature rises and time goes on, its volatility increases. This leads to higher concentrations of formaldehyde inside the car. In-car formaldehyde mainly comes from adhesives and plastics. After window film starts to bubble, the airtight environment between the film and the glass is disrupted, allowing toxic gases to be released inside the car. Elevated levels of formaldehyde inside the car can irritate the respiratory tract and mucous membranes of the skin, posing health risks and potentially leading to leukemia and cancer.

1. Visible light transmittance. The main functions of doors and windows are lighting and ventilation. Therefore, for glass, the higher the visible light transmittance of the film, the better. If it is too low, it will affect indoor lighting and cause lighting to turn on. To lose the energy-saving effect, the general visible light transmittance should not be less than 60%;
2. Infrared blocking rate. This band accounts for 54% of the total heat energy of the sun. The higher the blocking rate value, the better. Generally, the blocking rate can reach more than 70%. There are even some businesses that take advantage of the general consumer’s lack of knowledge about films to use infrared. The barrier rate is misleading as the total solar energy barrier rate. It boasts that the visible light transmittance of its film is 70%, and the total solar energy barrier rate can reach 90%. This is obviously misleading, and it can be seen from the solar energy distribution map that it is impossible;
3. Ultraviolet blocking rate, which is an indicator for measuring the amount of ultraviolet rays entering the room. This technology is very mature and can be adjusted according to requirements. According to the physiological needs of the human body, this indicator is generally set at above 95%.

Glass film serves to enhance the safety and energy efficiency of standard glass. The use of glass film dates back to the 1960s when its initial purpose was to address the imbalance in heating and cooling caused by solar energy loads. In its early stages, these films primarily focused on reflecting solar radiation away from glass windows to prevent excessive heat buildup on the inner glass surfaces.
As manufacturing technology advanced, a new generation of body-colored insulation films emerged. These films offered a wide array of colors, providing architects with extensive design possibilities. Some of the prominent color options include brown, gray, gold, amber, blue, green, among others.

The main differences are as follows:

1.Different Production Processes: Typically, architectural films are produced using a vacuum deposition process, which results in high visible light reflectivity and excellent solar control capabilities. However, this high reflectivity is not suitable for automotive applications as it can lead to intense glare and hinder rearview mirror visibility.
2.Different Adhesive Materials: Automotive films typically use standard adhesive materials (HPR), while most architectural films rely on clear dry adhesive (CDF) that offers superior adhesive properties. Due to these distinctions, the lifespan of automotive films is typically around 3-5 years, whereas architectural films can last 10-20 years under normal conditions. If regular automotive film is applied to architectural glass, prolonged exposure to sunlight can rapidly deteriorate the adhesive, resulting in peeling, fading, and cracking of the film, seriously affecting the aesthetics of the building.
3.Thickness Variations: Architectural films generally range from 2mil to 16mil in thickness, whereas automotive films are typically between 0.8mil to 1.5mil.
4.Different Metal Content Requirements: Automotive films should not contain more than 5% cadmium-nickel-titanium, while architectural films should not exceed 2.5%. These limitations are in line with environmental and ecological standards. This distinction is because vehicle occupants are generally healthy adults and do not spend prolonged periods inside their cars. In contrast, architectural films may be installed in residential spaces with pregnant women, infants, and vulnerable individuals. The radiation from rare metals can have certain effects on fetal and infant development. Therefore, architectural films must adhere to strict ecological and environmental standards regarding metal content.
